After the good news of being selected to be part of the NYC Shine Festival 2013, we were excited to be one of 3 groups asked to perform at the Media Conference held at SCAPE.  This year Shine selected over 50 events to support the theme – ‘#FreeYourYou” to inspire youth to turn passions into action and champion community causes.

We had a great time choreographing the performance, and it also gave us the opportunity to share a teaser of some slow motion video we have been working on earlier on in the year – a collaboration between Superfly Monkey Dragons, Persistent Productions and T-Eight. After weeks of preparation and brainstorming, we are happy to finally share the program for the first Asian Parkour Freerunning Festival! Check it out at our Schedule page here.

We had a big vision for Jump Asia when it was first conceptualized. And with that comes the need for funding.  Luckily the National Youth Council Shared the vision and awarded Superfly Monkey Dragons with the Gold Pitch to Shine grant and we are hoping to put together a great program for all attendees and participants.  The Shine Youth Festival will also be doing a great deal of publicity to help get the word out on all the great events that will be happening around the Shine Festival.

This will include coverage in the following areas: SHINE Website
